Electrocompaniet launches 3 new products at High End Munich 2022!

Electrocompaniet AS, the leading Norwegian Hifi manufacturer is pleased to announce the officialrelease of
3 new products at the High-End Munich Show 2022.
The AW 800 M power amplifier,
the Rena S2 streamer, and the Rena SA2 streamer-amplifier.
And finally, Electrocompaniet launches a remote control for all products in the EC Living line.
The AW 800 M is Electrocompaniet’s brand new,
from the ground up re-engineered flagship power amplifier.
It replaces the legendary AW 600 NEMO as our most powerful monoblock power amplifier.
An intriguing new attribute of the AW 800 M is the ability to switch between
mono, stereo and bi-amping operating modes, enabling you to upgrade your system
With all the changes and improvements made in the AW 800 M,
one thing that has not changed is the unique Electrocompaniet design philosophy and sound signature.
We are confident that from the first note of any familiar recording,
you will be captivated by the AW 800 M and by the musical enjoyment it will give you.
The Rena SA2 is the second generation of Electrocompaniet’s award-winning DAC / streamer/Amplifier,
based on the in-house developed EC software engine.
The Rena SA2 features support for Tidal Connect®, Spotify Connect®, Qobuz,Airplay 2, DLNA/UPnP, Bluetooth® and it is ROON Ready®.
It also has a Summit wireless WiSA® chip, enabling it to connect to WiSA compatible wireless speakers,
including Electrocompaniet Tana L2 and Sira L1 subwoofer.
In addition, it has:
2x75W amplifier,
new speaker terminals
new touch-button system
updated DSP.
It features 3 digital inputs (1 COAX, 2x TosLink)
combined analog and digital output.
The upgraded software and app now also have support for remote control,
enabling control of the unit without having to use the free app.
The Rena S2 streamer/DAC includes all the updates included in the Rena SA2,
and as with all Electrocompaniet products, it is fully designed and manufactured in our own factory in Norway.
Lastly, we are presenting a new Bluetooth remote for all products in the EC Living series,
both current and legacy products.
This remote features up to 3 preset radio favorites.
The EC software engine will also be updated,
with an option to enter custom radio URL’s into all the EC software engine products,
to cater for stations not generally available.
